FLO Saline Plus nasal spray helps to relieve symptoms of cold and flu, hayfever and allergy. When the nose gets inflamed by irritants and allergens it can lead to sneezing, sniffling, and noses that are stuffy, runny, blocked or congested. Using a preservative-free nasal saline can help by:
Adults and children over 12 years: Insert up to 8 sprays per nostril
Children 2 years to 12 years: Insert up to 5 sprays per nostril
Children up to 2 years: Insert 1 to 2 sprays per nostril Suitable for use in pregnancy and while breastfeeding
What is isotonic nasal spray?
An isotonic saline nasal spray – such as FLO Saline Plus and FLO Nasal Mist– contains a saline solution (a mixture of salt and water) that is at the same concentration as the fluids in your body.
Isotonic saline nasal sprays are generally preferred as they may be less irritating than stronger (hypertonic) solutions to sensitive nasal tissues, particularly in children.
How often can you use isotonic nasal spray?
An isotonic saline nasal spray, such as FLO Saline Plus and FLO Nasal Mist, contains a preservative free, non-medicated saline solution.
This means it is gentle enough to use every day or as often as needed to help clear a blocked or runny nose.
